Creating your account & your first job application

This walks through the fastest path from signing up to having a scored, tracked application.

Step 1 — Sign up

Create an account from the sign-up page. Email/password and social sign-in (including Google) are supported. There is no forced trial or card requirement to create an account — the free tier works immediately.

Step 2 — Upload or build a CV

Go to your CV library and upload an existing PDF/Word resume, or build one from scratch in the CV editor. Uploaded files are parsed into structured sections automatically.

Step 3 — Start a job application session

From your dashboard, click "New application" and paste in the job description (and company name, if you have it). This creates a session that keeps your CV, the job, and every AI output tied together in one place.

Step 4 — Run a match analysis

Inside the session, run the match analysis to get an ATS-style score against the job description, a breakdown by category, and specific line-by-line improvement suggestions.

Step 5 — Generate a tailored cover letter and Q&A answers

From the same session you can generate a cover letter matched to the role, and get AI-drafted answers to interview or application screening questions — all grounded in your actual CV, not invented.

Every AI action that consumes a credit shows you the cost and your remaining balance before it runs — nothing is spent without you seeing it first.

What you get at the end

  • A saved job application session you can revisit any time from your dashboard or application history.

  • A match score and improvement list for that specific job.

  • A tailored cover letter and, optionally, a tailored CV download (see Match analysis & job-tailored CV downloads).
