ATS Friendly AI tracks usage as a set of free-allowance pools that reset periodically, plus paid credit balances that never expire. Your free allowance is always used first; paid credits are only drawn down once the relevant free allowance for that period is exhausted.
Free usage is tracked separately per feature, not as one shared pool - so running out of one doesn’t affect the others:
General pool: Covers the ATS Resume Checker, Cover Letter Generator, CV Editor, and match analysis.
Q&A pool: Covers the Application Form Question Answerer.
Mock Interview pool: Covers Mock AI Interview practice sessions.
Each pool resets on its own schedule. It is common to be out of your general allowance for the day while your Mock Interview allowance is untouched, or vice versa.
Credits: Non-expiring, general-purpose credits used once your general or Q&A free allowance runs out.
Interview Credits: A separate, non-expiring balance used only for Mock Interview sessions once your Mock Interview free allowance runs out. Having Credits does not cover Mock Interview use, and vice versa.
Every credit-consuming tool action displays a clear confirmation popup showing the credit cost and your remaining balance before execution.
